The initial message goes unanswered, lost when Jedao's communicator is smashed along with the rest of him, and unlike Jedao, it has no regenerative properties. His item, too. However, two days after they descend onto the Island, Jedao finds him.
Jedao still has large swathes of his body palette-swapped into a deep, light-swallowing blackness, neither matte nor glossy. He's found a mylar blanket somewhere, and made a decently neat hipwrap out of it, but the bright silver of the wrap only contrasts all the more vividly with the chunks of his body that look like resinous concentrations of starless outer void.
Jun Wu looks mostly untouched and unfazed. One of his arms is in a sling and there does seem to be stitches under the bandages. His robe is stained by his blood, but otherwise he is whole.
Unlike Jedao. He observes the man, immediately fascinated. A few quick steps brings them closer and his hand hovers over the dark pieces of his Warden's body.
"It would take far more than that to kill a god." he would know - he has tested it, "What happened to you?"
"Mm yes, that would break you to pieces." Jun Wu tuts and walks around Jedao, observing him from every angle, "You're not a normal man. I can't recall if we ever spoke about your nature or not..."
Especially not with near-strangers, although he's been bloodied in front of enough of the barge that he no longer considers it a useful pieces of infosec to pretend he's human.

I have you to thank for looking after me. {...is he thanking him? Maybe.} Have you survived?

"Jun Wu! You made it!"

Re: {Action}
He wants to flinch away from the sudden closeness, but he doesn't; he doesn't give any sign of it.
"It'll be a few more days before I can fully reconstruct myself."

They should now.
